Name: Ikasu, Tsuyatsuya (Yatsu)
Age: 16
Type: Human (Quincy)
Appearance: Yatsu seems like a perfectly normal girl. She has pink hair, pink eyes, slender body, long tail sprouting out her back... oh yeah, she's part cat. Sitting on top her her head are two tan-colored feline ears, usually flicked upward to echo in sound. Coming out the bottom of the back of her shirt is a long, similar colored tail that she's able to move, along with the rest of her body, as if it was a completely normal body part.
Personality: Yatsu. She's a shy girl. She can't stand to be near anyone. Anyone at all. After her life reran itself, everything made her afraid. All that made sound frightened her. Everything burned away at her thoughts and slowly killed her. A couple voices may be able to remind her of small thoughts from the past, but most voices will just cause her to run. Run away. Far away. Soon. Very soon. Something will happen.
Specialty: Intelligence, feline capabilities
Powers:
Bow - HijokeiHijokei is a rather large bow. It's almost as tall as Yatsu. The bow is able to use two strings, right next to each other. This allows both the use of rapid firing, and firing multiple arrows at the same time. The wood of the bow has a bold, black striped leading down it, the rest is just red. The main point of this bow is just to hit many times in a row, not to hit with extreme impact. When not in use, the bow reverts back into a glove that sits on Yatsu's left hand.
Weapons: She uses the weapon above, nothing else, but the claws on her hands.
Character History:
Beginnings:It all happened as an infant. Her parents didn't care for her. They left her in the government's protection, donated for science. Mixing animal DNA with a human's to create a super creature. They had wanted to try this, but never succeeded. Every subject they tried were adults, they were too developed. But this. This was an opportunity they had been waiting for. Immediately, they started putting odd fluid into her bloodstream through needles. She cried. They didn't care. Her immune system was weak, it wasn't able to fight off the virus aiming for her cells, for the nuclei, for the nucleoli. Most every cell was hit and transformed. They poor girl was in complete and utter pain, but they didn't care, they just wanted their "project" to work. After a couple months, it seemed the attempt had failed. For legal reasons, they had to kill her, since she had been tested on. The gun was pointed at her. She struggled to get out of the hands of two soldiers, but failed. Her head flailed and they couldn't get a good shot. A soldier grabbed her head by the top. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, the soldier stopped him. He felt something on the top of her head, under her hair. Two lumps of cartilage started to grow out, holes under them. Almost the entire anatomy of her head had changed. The lumps on top of her head started to take place of her ears. The "project had been a success.
Growing UpHer body started to develop. Age 1: Her ears were completely developed. Age 2: Her tailbone started to elongate, growing to an inch. Age 3: Her tailbone is 5 inched larger then normal. Age 4: Her tailbone is completely grown out into a 9 inch tail. Age 5: Her nails and teeth start to thicken. Age 6: Her nails and teeth are razor sharp. Age 7: Walking ability on all four legs is as normal as two legs. Age 8: Superhuman agility. Age 9: Basic English/ Japanese (English in my sense, Japanese in the real-life sense) perfected. Age 10: Cat noises start to randomly outburst. Age 11: Human body started to develop. Age 12: Human body finished developing. Age 13: Able to kill. Age 14: Able to think for herself.
Getting OutAge 14. She started to think. Was there an outside world outside? A place where you weren't tested every day to see how you changed? She needed to find out. While she was on her free time, she found an air vent, not normally accessible by an average human. Her nails easily pried of the plate and she jumped up and crawled in. For a while she crawled. Her eyes were only a quarter feline, so the darkness was a bit troublesome, but she made it through. She found several vent openings, but they all had people on the other side. After crawling for half an hour, she finally found a safe opening and entered. Inside were a bunch of pictures of her, many of which at places she didn't know. Under the pictures was a box. Cutting the tape with her claw, she opened the box. It was... her. There was a lock of her hair. There was a chunk of her skin. There was a vial of her blood. There were several other things in the box that she'd rather not identify. In the center of the box... was an odd artifact. It was a cross, hanging on a string. She picked it up and looked over it. Placing it on her wrist, she moved on in the room. There was another box. In it was a bunch of books. One of the books had the same cross on it. She picked up the book. Before she was able to read any of it, the tumbler in the lock on the door started to activate. She jumped into the air vent, again and started to crawl through it as fast as she could. She found another empty room through a vent, jumping into it. A large quantity of red lasers were spread throughout the room. Across the lasers was a large, metal door. She jumped through the lasers, avoiding each one with enhanced flexibility. She reached the metal door and pressed a small button next to it. The door started to open with a loud noise. She pressed the button again, which halted the door, stopping the noise. She crawled under the small section of door open and started to run. She ran on all four limbs, careful to not drop the book she was holding. She was free. Free.
Meeting KarakuraShe was out in the forest, trying to find something. Maybe she was wrong. Maybe there wasn't anything out here... then she heard it. A voice. She ran towards the noise and saw the most amazing thing in the world. It was the town of Karakura. She started to walk through it. People looked at her, oddly. Well, she was dressed in a hospital robe and had a tail and cat ears. Somebody on the street came up to her, which frightened her slightly. They directed her to a clothing store. She didn't respond, just went. In the store, somebody offered to help. She accepted. They brought her a full outfit and sent her to the changing room. When she exited, she looked more normal, but still had the tail and ear. The person helping her just guessed they were toys or somewhat. When she was about to leave, the cashier called to her, asking her to pay. Pay? She didn't have any money. A man in the store handed her enough money for everything. This was odd. Everybody was being so nice to her. Is this how it's supposed to be? She exited, fully dressed in decently warm clothing. People started to look at her even more, this gave her a frightening feeling. She started to run, getting back to the forest. People were going to stare. People were going to talk. She needed to stay hidden.
Learning to be HerselfShe started to look through the book she had. It explained a lot of stuff about something called a 'Quincy'. It explained what the cross was, too. She tried to do what the book told her to. An arrow launched from it. She fell to the ground, tired. Her very first arrow. Every day she would read through the book, learning more about her race. For food she would hunt game, whatever she could find and catch. For water she found a waterfall leading to a river. This is also were she bathed and washed. Finally, she was able to launch several arrows a day without fainting. She trained further and further. One day, while she was near town, she heard a couple words: Tsuyatsuya and Ikasu. She was thinking about what she would be called. That was it. Those words started it all. She took those words, calling herself by them. She shortened the first word to make it easier for pronunciation and to make it original. That was the beginning of Yatsu. Yatsu, the undying.
((The next chapters might be rushed since they were all RPed, they weren't off the top of my head, and I can't save this, so I need to hurry and finish it.))
Meeting the ShiniWhen Yatsu was 16, she was sitting in a tree. Somebody walked by. Their presence didn't seem normal. It seemed... stronger. The man found her and they started to converse. Another person of the same presence found them and started to talk. She was afraid. People started to scare her. One was fine. Two and over frightened her. She got through the conversation... by running away once 5 people had surrounded her, talking to them. Several adventures ran through her life on earth. She met a fellow Quincy and referred to him as her cousin. Thoughts started to run in her mind. Horrible thoughts. She felt terrible. She found her cousin... and asked him to kill her. He did so, sending her to the hollows.
Living with a MaskShe woke in a desert, in front of a fortress. Something covered her eye. It was a white mask shard. She had become an Arrancar. She entered the fortress, greeted by a couple Arrancar. None of her past memories were upon her. At the fortress a Vaizard came in and kidnapped her, bringing her to his house. She was fine there. A large fight broke out as the Arrancar tried to take her back. She escaped to Karakura, starting to remember her past. Yatsu became friends with several Vaizards, allying them. She fell in love with a shinigami. He was assassinated. She fell in love with another. Apparently he was the man who killed her previous lover. Her past lover came back to life, making the situation completely awkward. Yatsu's thought started to hurt her again. She committed suicide in front her current lover, promising him she'd remember.
Nothing to RememberShe woke in Karakura, next to a man, claiming to be her lover. He went through a lot, trying to get her to remember something. Nothing happened. He made her remember, kissing her. So much happened. Her lover did anything he could to protect her. A man, a powerful man, leading her lover came and attacked her and him. He tried to protect her, she tried to run. He was knocked out and taken away. She was killed...
Back to Square OneYatsu was alive. She was in the middle of a forest. A glove was on her hand...
RP Sample: It burned her eyes, even though they were closed. The random screeching pierced her newly born eardrums. She could feel the noise yelling down, she could feel the three bones vibrate, giving her the sound. It hurt. Everything. She couldn't escape it. Her body weakly pulled itself and landed on it's side, getting the light away from her eyes. They started to open. It was all too much, so many colors, so much. Her head shook in pain as she tried to accustom herself to this world. Her throat was dry. Her eyes burned. Her head throbbed. The pain of coming back, this time, it hurt severely. She couldn't shake it off. Her legs pulled up, taking her knees to her chest as her hand dropped and grabbed them, holding them in place. Finally, she could see the colors. The greens, the browns, so many colors. It appeared she was in a forest. She pulled on her body again, yanking her feet to the ground. She sat up. She felt better. Yet, the pain stayed, and it obviously wasn't going to leave anytime soon. The screeching sounded again. Her hands hastily reached up and cupped over the top of her head, covering her cat-like ears. Her eyes flicked to the source of the screeching. A tiny bird. A tiny bird was chirping, and it made this much noise? She was sensitive, couldn't take it. She crawled onto her hands and knees, then up onto her feet, stumbling slightly. The bird, she didn't want it to be gone, but it caused her so much pain. She reconsidered killing it, knowing she wouldn't be able to catch it at this strength. As her hand cringed back, a bow came from her glove. She made a light, hurting sigh, as she aimed the bow the bird and plucked one of the strings. A small burst of reitsu shot from the bow and pierced the bird, disintegrating it. She had killed a living being... yet, she had to. She had to live...
